Thousands Pledge Allegiance as Metal Allegiance Dominate Anaheim

For the past few years, the Metal Allegiance crew rolls through Anaheim during the NAMM Convention and play stellar shows with a venerable who’s who in the heavy metal community. This show was no exception. With a line up consisting of members of Megadeth, Sepultura, Testament, and Death Angel, these metal all-stars put on one helluva show. The core Metal Allegiance line up consists of David Ellefson (Megadeth), Mike Portnoy (Winery Dogs), Alex Skolnick (Testament), and Mark Menghi. The night began with the core, in costume, playing a few Black Sabbath numbers and doing a phenomenal job at playing these iconic songs. They then invited guests like Phil Demmel, Chuck Billy, Alissa While-Gluz, and Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein to join them on songs ranging from Slayer, Dio, Iron Maiden, and the Misfits. There’s a good chance this heavy metal monster of a band will be back in Anaheim next year and it would be wise not to miss the show.
