Alter Bridge was in town tonight at the Wiltern Theater. They are currently on a 2020 US tour in support of their latest album, Walk the Sky, which was released this past October. If you are not familiar with Alter Bridge, they are a rock band from Orlando, Florida. They were formed back in 2004 by vocalist/guitarist Myles Kennedy, lead guitarist Mark Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips. Both Tremonti and Phillips are both former members of Creed which broke up in 2004. Thus, the birth of Alter Bridge shortly thereafter. This evening they returned to Los Angeles and Pit Pass Magazine was there to cover it!

The evening got started with a performance from Clint Lowery. He's best known as the guitarist for Sevendust. He’s currently on the road in support of his solo release, God Bless the Renegades which was released on Rise Records in January. The band took the stage and got started with the title track, "God Bless the Renegades." His band is a four piece and was a perfect opener for this show. Clint went on to play additional songs like "Here," "Silver Lining," "She's Free," "What's The Matter," "You Go First," and "Alive." His band got a great reaction from the Wiltern crowd. They concluded their set with the song "Kings."

Alter Bridge took the stage next to a welcoming packed house in LA. Myles Kennedy and crew got things started with "Wouldn't You Rather." They brought the heavy rock tonight and had amazing visual light beams that only added to their stage presence. Alter Bridge are the perfect combination of metal and classic rock. They went on to play fan favorites like "Isolation," "Come to Life," "Ghost of Days Gone By," "Broken Wings," "Rise Today," and "Waters Rising" among others. This was a set full of hard rock energy and no one better but these guys to bring it here at the Wiltern.

The evening concluded with two encores, "Godspeed" and "Addicted to Pain." A perfect way to end the evening! We want to thank Alter Bridge for coming to LA and we hope to see them again soon!
